FAQ

Q: How long before my event date should I book my party bus?
A: We recommend that you book your party bus package at least one week before your event because of the large amount of requests that we get. Your best bet is to call us at 800-823-7249 to check on availability.
 
Q: What is the minimum deposit required to reserve a party bus?
A: The minimum deposit is a $250 hold on your credit card (you do not get charged).  This hold confirms your reservation for the date that you selected.

Q: For what reasons would the credit card on file be charged?
A: If the minimum amount of people do not show up, it can be used to pay the remaining balance.  It will also be charged if you cancel before the cancellation period. Also, if somebody throws up on the floor or on the seats, we have the right to charge the card holder a minimum of $250. We recommend that you pickup a box of trash bags.  It's worth the $4 you spend at the grocery store!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: 1 week prior to pickup date = Full Refund
Less than 1 week prior to pickup date = Total of Minimum Guaranteed * Package Price + Pickup Fee (if any).

Q: Why does the site say 2-3 nightclubs?
A: Depending on the pickup location and the amount of time you reserved the bus for will depend on how many clubs you can go to.

Q: How many clubs do you recommend that you go to in one night?

A: We recommend going to one nightclub.  If you decide to go to 2 or 3 clubs, it's important to get to the last club no later than 11:30 because most clubs hit capacity by 11:45.  If a club is at capacity, NOBODY will be allowed in.

Q: How old do I have to be to ride on the party bus?
A: We have packages that cater to groups that are 18+ and 21+. Call 1-800-823-7249 and ask one of our friendly sales representatives what package is right for you!

Q: Do you have a minimum requirement for your packages?
A: YES. Please look at the Party Bus Escape page under the packages menu to determine how many people minimum are required for each of our packages.

Q: I see that you offer customized online payments for your customers. How does this work?
A: Once you make a reservation, you have the option of adding a BUY NOW button on our site so people can use their credit cards to pay for the party bus. Example: http://www.thinkescape.com/san_francisco_party_bus_escape.html#schedule

Customers have the option of using their credit cards or they can pay cash on the night of the party bus.  A $1.99 transaction fee is added to each ticket that is purchased online.  The BUY NOW buttons are taken off 72 hours prior to your reservation date.

Q: Once my link is set up on the site, how can I see who has paid for my party bus?
A: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we generate the most up to date list. Please email your sales representative with your name, the date of the event, and the name of the party and she will get back to you within one business day.

Q: Do you pickup anywhere in Northern California?
A: YES. We can pick you up anywhere in the greater Bay Area, but distance charges do apply. Please ask your sales representative for detailed information.

Q: How can I get FREE shots at the nightclubs?
A: Free shots are available at Element Lounge and Etiquette Lounge. The choice of the shot will be decided by the bartender.

Q: What nightclubs does your party bus go to?
A: We go to the hottest nightclub destinations that San Francisco has to offer. Some of our most requested nightclubs are Suite 181, Rouge, Club NV, Velvet Lounge, Suede, 1015 Folsom, Crash, Element Lounge and many more!

Q: What is meant by VIP entrance into the nightclubs?
A: VIP entrance means that you do not have to wait in the guest list line or the VIP line at the night club.  If there are other buses in front of us, it is a first come, first serve policy.

Q: Do we get our own VIP areas to sit at?
A: No, you do NOT get a VIP area to sit in with any of our packages.  VIP areas require that you purchase bottle service.  Ask your friendly sales representative for more information on how you can get discounted bottle service through Think Escape.

Q: Is there a dress code for the nightclubs?
A: YES! YES! YES! San Francisco Night Clubs are very strict about the dress code. NO - tennis shoes, sportswear, hats, baggy jeans, timberland or lugz style boots.  Guys must have button down shirts and the shirts must be tucked in prior to entering the nightclub.

Q: Is alcohol provided on the bus?
A: NO. Without a liquor license, alcohol cannot be legally served by us on the bus.

Q: Can we bring our own alcohol on the bus?
A: YES. We recommend that you bring all of your alcohol in your cooler to avoid breaking any bottles.

Q: Do you provide cups or trash bags?
A: NO. We do not provide cups. It is recommended that you buy trash bags prior to your departure to ensure the bus will be kept safe and clean.

Q: Do you provide any non-alcoholic drinks?
A: YES. Most of our packages include a cooler with soda, ice, and juice.  Ask your sales representative to find out what packages include the FREE cooler with mixers.

Q: Do you provide any food or snacks?
A: YES. Most of our packages includes pizza from our partners at NY Pizza Kitchen.  Ask your sales representative to find out what packages include the FREE pizza.

Q: How much pizza is provided on the bus?
A:The number of pizzas will be determined by how many people are on the bus.  We serve a minimum of 2 pizzas with our select packages.  Each pizza has 16 slices.  Vegetarian options are available.

2008 NYE Party FAQ

Q: Can I return my party bus ticket for any reason?
A: NO. Party bus tickets for NYE are non refundable because tickets are purchased in advance.

Q: Can I bring alcohol on the bus?
A: NO. You can only bring alcohol if you reserved a private bus.

Q: What happens if I don’t make it to Mel's Diner on time?
A: You can meet us at the first nightclub. If you don’t make it to the first nightclub, your ticket will be void and there will be no refunds.

Q: How do I reserve a private tour? And what does a private tour entail?
A: You can meet us at the first nightclub. If you don’t make it to the first nightclub, your ticket will be void and there will be no refunds.

Q: What happens if I don’t make it to Mel's Diner on time?
A: Private tours require a minimum of 25 people. You get your own private bus. Alcohol is allowed on the bus. You get a FREE pickup within 40 miles of San Francisco.

Q: What is your "Zero Tolerance" policy?
A:If you get into any fight you will be escorted off the bus with no ride back and no refund. If you smoke on the bus you will be escorted off the bus with no ride back and no refund.

Q: What is the recommended dress code for the nightclubs?
A: Button up shirt, slacks, and designer jeans. Button up shirt and slacks are required for the Platinum Package. DO NOTS: baggy jeans, t-shirts, sportswear, hats, and tennis shoes.

Q: Are there any reasons why I won't get into the nightclubs?
A:If you’re too drunk. If you get into any fights or harass the nightclub staff.

Q: Can I stay at the Element Lounge after 10:30pm?
A: NO. You cannot stay at the Element Lounge because the ticket is only valid from 9:00 – 10:30pm.

Q: Do I have to go back on the bus after the second nightclub?
A: NO. You are more than welcome to leave the second nightclub at any time.
